Hi Alex,

To put your mind at rest a bit - I think I'm the one you're referring to
about the CB cap leak.  It was due to a faulty DB refurbish job at a marina.
Had they done the job as they should, there would not have been a leak. They
used a ton of silicone to seal it and forgot to tighten about 10 of the
bolts. Silicone in untightened area had hardened and formed gap so even when
I tightened the bolts, the water leaked through. 

Advice here is to just install cap with just the neoprene gasket and no
sealant - so you can take it off for any required repairs in future.

As part of the helpful advice on the list I learned that many had done the
refurbish job and had zero leaks afterward.

BTW: Even with that problem and the pain of fixing it I've fallen in love -
and I've had a lot of boats, big and small.  I'd buy the Rhodes 22 just for
the swim ladder, cockpit, cabin, uh, guess the list would have to go on for
a while :-)
