Do you have the diamond centerboard of the original type? Does anyone know if the two centerboards are different weights?

We are amongst those who have dispensed with the blocks.

It makes it very easy to change out the pennant with the boat up in slings for bottom painting (after doing it ourselves for several years, we now pay a marina to bottom paint the boat.)  And we haven't found it hard to raise or lower the centerboard - I do that mostly.  It's not effortless, but it's not hard either.
