[Rhodes22-list] Boat Show? centerboard weight

I just weighed my centerboard, as it is currently in my basement, using my bathroom scales and it is 75 pounds. It is the pre-diamond design. It might be a tad heavier than others as I drilled into the board to fill voids with epoxy.

I think Graham is right. I don't think the centerboard weighs 200 lbs unless someone rebuilt it. I'm sure I'm not lifting a 200 lb board. The diamond board can't be much different in weight from the old-style centerboard in weight as the overall specs for the boat didn't change.

This was discussed before on this list. Rummy said about 65lbs.

John Shulick said 100lbs for his old style CB on his 71 (and he weighed it)
