[Rhodes22-list] Sad picture. Not mine,

Interesting.  From the dark color of the hull it could be a Rhodes.
Otherwise too little for my eyes to pin down.  From the location of the
mooring it appears the front of the cabin trunk is a dark color.  That
would be a mystery to me.   Where is the mast.  Had the sail unfurled.
Was the board left down in such shallow water. If at a yacht club where
are all the other boats and moorings.  If a Rhodes, what is the year
(the 12 digit hull number.)  If a Rhodes /we/ built I would like to buy it.

The disturbing part to me is the comment that this is common to Rhodes.
Any boat can be turned upside down.  We have not been able to capsize a
Rhodes under sail.  Owners who keep boats on moorings on Martha's
Vinyard, even in 50mile gales, have not had their boats go over.  The
one I did hear of ending on its side was buried in a snow storm before
it tried to get all that weight off it by rolling over.

Where in NY is it.  Nothing in the picture gives this New Yorker a
clue.  I would love to see it before the crime scene gets compromised.
