By the mud line she was floating light on her lines until recently.   If she
suffered an independent leak it must have happened just before the storm.
Dacapo says that mooring has about four feet of water at low tide. I
don't know the tide at the time of the storm but wonder if there could have
been a sieche and she was bounced on her stub in waves. If the wind was
strong enough to hold the hull deck joint under water and the bottom kept
her from pivoting to keep her bow into the wind while moored, the interior
could have taken on water.  Any other speculation?

Sympathy to the owner, hope he gets her right. Has he been active on da
list?

Alex
