[Rhodes22-list] What year was IMF introduced?

Rhodes 22 History (http://www.rhodes22.org/blew_skies/history.html) says that the IMF was introduced in the early 80's.  Page 9 of the sales literature from my original 1981 R22 purchase (http://www.rhodes22.org/pipermail/rhodes22-list/attachments/20070918/b278663f/attachment.pdf) shows the option for the "Inner Mast Furling with the R-22 Sally-Sail Main" at $1,995.  I do not think that it was a "deliverable item" when I purchased my '81.  My 1991 R22 included IMF with a 2nd generation main and outhaul car.
