Reuben,

Look under the starboard cockpit seat, way up to the hull/deck joint.  You should see at least one cable, which runs the stern running light.  On my boat, this cable is secured to the hull/deck joint by small retaining clamps and nylon cable ties.  You should be able to snip the cable ties with a pair of side cutters, run the new wire, and then secure the bundle to the same retaining clamps with new cable ties.  If you are a big person, there isn’t much room under the cockpit seat, so you might want to find a small assistant.  Good luck!
