I will jump on here since I have just bought and refitted a 1976 Rhodes 22 interior cabin. I will not lift her off the trailer till 2022 season for a hull, bottom paint and gelcoat repair. I will be sailing my Rhodes 2021 season while I refit the deck on my other boat. I have not experienced and center board problems as of yet, but interested in your center board reconditioning. Pictures of the problem when you get your cap off would help.

cap off.  It would be helpful to know what to expect in case anyone else
needs to attempt a similar project in the future.  Maybe there are already
examples on the list but I don't recall seeing any since I joined.
