the are grandfathered, so coastal should not be effected, as Rodger mentioned, so freash water lakes(i.e. public water supply) are
banning them, it turns out the MTBE they put in fuel to make it burn cleaner really likes water. MTBE started to turn up in
drinkwater samples and the 2-stroke got the blame. Real EPA screewup, the stuff get into the water table from any gas leak/spill,
long lived and getts into the house/public wells, IIRC the EPA is trying to get the gas company to switch, but thier a small problem
that the EPA forced them to invest into MTBE in the first place.
