[Rhodes22-list] new to list/ bilge pump

Michael,
Sounds like what I have.  The flex hose goes all the way to under the
counter top and back down to join the sink drain, creating the siphon break.
I agree, check valves sometimes don't, and would add resistance that the
bilge pump would have to overcome.
