[Rhodes22-list] Soap Boxes

Bill,

Both the left and the right are full of the good, bad, and the ugly. As one
who bats both left and right I try not to take the politicaly stuff too
seriously. To me it is obvious that the threat from Iraq was over hyped to
sell the war. The reasons given to attack are now a moving target. Powell's
speech to the UN had nothing to do with freeing the people and all to do
with defending the US. Now folks are saying that it doesn't even matter if
we find WMD yet that was the very reason we attacked.

it is easy for the US to pat our selves on the back for setting Iraq free.
In actuality the war was the easy part. Creating a stable Iraq is going to
be the real challenge.

I understand how you feel but don't let this stuff run you off.

Wally
