Mike,

	The fundamental design of the Rhodes 22 has not changed since
1968, so all the old pictures and discussions are correct.

However, your logic and reasons for waiting to get a R22 escape me.  If
you have noticed, there are Rhodes 22 owners in Texas.  Even if you are
in west Texas, you can trailer a Rhodes 22 to water.  Just because you
do not see water under your bridges, does not mean there is no water for
sailing.

Do you plan to wait until you are as old as Stan to get a sail boat?

If you have to get a used one now, get it, learn and trade up in two
years.  Even if you can get only a few days sailing this year and next,
you will feel better for having gone sailing.  Plus you will know better
what to get on a new boat.

Go sailing this year, next year never comes.
