[Rhodes22-list] Purchasing new genny????

Ron,
After several years of hemming and hawing about this we liked the
arrangement we saw at the 2002 Annapolis show enough to order the "upgrade
kit" from Stan. The kit (early 2003 version) came with the cleat/starboard
assembly for under the boom, a turning block for the top of the boom to
position the outhaul to enter the boom and a plastic sleeve for the exit
hole on the bottom of the boom. Fred did the install, drilling the hole in
the boom and attaching the cleat/starboard assembly and the turning block
assembly with stainless self-tapping screws coated with the anti-corrosion
stuff. Everything fit perfectly. We love it. It has made deploying and
adjusting the main a much simpler, faster process.

Right now the mast and the boom are up in the rafters of the garage so I'm
not sure that any pic I could get would be very helpful but if you want one
later let me know.
