52 pounds is impressive.  My Honda's propeller looks like it weighs 
half that.  I'll check them out.
But I do have to put in a good word for the Honda 2 hp/4-cycle.  The 
1996 I have started on the 1st pull after having been in the shed 
unused for 4 years, and having been sunk on its maiden journey while 
operating at speed (I stupidly put it on a canoe, but I have not yet 
tried a Tazer on my leg).  It works just great.  Now the 1994 
2hp/4-cycle/AIR-cooled Honda iis even smaller, lighter, and that little 
guy fires right up on an easy pull.  It may be that the 8 is at the 
size range where without electric start it's asking a lot of 
hang-over-the-transom-codgers-pulling-on-cord types (speaking of course 
only for myself).
