Mike,

Thanks for the eloquently stated insight.  My personel
belief is that the House of Saud is the biggest
culprit in this mess.  They have encouraged the masses
to pursue extremism to avoid implicating their leaders
for the substandard living conditions that most endure
despite the country's wealth.  

This may sound like corny and simplistic thinking to
the intellectuals on the list, but I firmly believe in
Ronald Reagan's and W's philosophy that all mankind
yearns to be free.  The Iraqi's are no exception.
Hopefully Iraq will be the beginning of new chapter in
history for the entire Middle East.

What are the other options?
