   Wally,

   I have the GB cockpit cushions, probably what    1999 or 2000.  They are closd cell foam with a&   covering.  They could actually be used as floats in th   were so inclined.  They are comfortable but fairly firm   to slide when the wind is piping up so I sometimes don't    out if it is really windy.  I remember reading on earlier pos   maybe the FAQ) that some owners attach velcro or something to keep t   hem from sliding.  I find them comfortable enough for my purposes,
