Michael,

Forgive me "talking out of school" here but I
contacted Roger offlist and offered some help with
employment. My best friend of 30 years is an
investment counsler in Decatur, Illinois. Ken is good
friends and broker for the former #3 of ADM, Archer
Daniels Midland, producer of 1/5th of the worlds food
supply, 2nd largest soy bean and corn processer, and
#1 supplier of ethanol. Maybe he thought I was full
of shit (easy assumption to make) but it was a
legitimate offer and would have earned him an audience
with the largest employer in his field. I was
strongly rebuffed on pretty explicit terms. If he
rejoins he can read the archives and dispute my
obversation.

I grew up with a father that was un-employed every
winter (construction) and learned early on never to
look a gift horse in the mouth - all work is
dignified.

It would be good if Roger came back - and perhaps I
left. He's a smart guy but everyone gets shit on in
life, what matters is getting up again and facing the
next day.

Brad
