Brad, 

Unfortunately for society, paying the debt to society
doesn't erase the offender's predeliction to these
behaviors. 

Sexual predators, esp. pedophiles, have sharply higher
recidivism rates.

If only it were as simple as serving the sentence &
then coming out and being a contributing citizen.
