[Rhodes22-list] cons of rhodes 22

Philip, Erly,

Good points, and I agree fully. The design of the Rhodes makes it perfect as is - for a 22' you could not provide for better creature comforts, including galley, head, and sleeping. Some of the skippers have provision for sleeping in the cockpit as well as in the cabin, so the question of physical space is resolved. The pop-top and enclosure gives the boat a stand-up galley and excellent ventilation, which I like. Very impressive boat, supported by an excellent support team in Edenton - how far for you to travel from Hickory?

You'll need to sail the boat, take your girl friend along, and you will be convinced.

It would be nice if the company were a great world wide corporation, but then you wouldn't get the personal attention from the owner (Stan). I can't think of anymore negatives. But with each negative, there is a positive. This is one outstanding boat. The only reason to buy something else is size.
