[Rhodes22-list] motor mount failure

Just bent j.bulfer at jbtek.com

I checked the archives, couldn't find this exact problem. The bottom screw
that attatches the aluminum channel is bent sideways. I don't know which
failed first. With that screw bent, the channel can spread far enough apart
to allow the plastic to come completly out. Looking at it my guess the screw
failed first. The bottom of the channel is bent. I think that is what broke
the plastic.

I'm thinking about replacing the 2 channels with a 1 pc stainless steel
channel with thru bolts instead of sheet metal screws. I think that's the
problem. I can attatch the pulley system the same way to the stainless
bracket. First I have to address the submerged motor.
