[Rhodes22-list] Minnesota Disaster

Elle,

Addendum-

Question: "Is there EVER a chance that we will get officials who
look out for their constituents and not for
themselves??"

Answer: No, not until we get term limits. The founding fathers did not
anticipate the career politicians. People get elected for their hair,
gender, skin color, perceived empathy, etc., not for their competency. Party
affiliation doesn't matter.

Disclaimer: By founding 'fathers' I didn't mean to imply that there weren't
mothers involved as well. Of course, someone had to cook the meals, sew the
flag, provide 'comfort', etc. If this response ends up in Fan's possession
I will personally choke you!
