[Rhodes22-list] Flat Tax Anyone?

Rummy,

We don't have to abandon the entire tax code.  The family of five kids would
still be eligible for tax breaks for number of dependents and other
deductions would still be available.  We just all have the same starting
point.  I don't know if that makes any sense, really, but does the present
system make better sense?
