[Rhodes22-list] I can see clearly...

Dear Abby,

I have a small window of opportunity to go sailing tomorrow, but I don't
know if it's the right thing to do.

I've delayed getting my over 50 physical for three years now because of the
violating nature of one of the tests. In fact, when the military came out
with their "don't ask, don't tell" policy, I considered getting a DO NOT
ENTER sign tatooed on one cheek and a ONE WAY sign on the other.

I was scheduled to get this heinous procedure done on Monday, which means I
would have needed to fast all day tomorrow. My wife and son have agreed to
go sailing with me for fear that I might die in the frigid waters of the
Chesapeake if I attempt to go out by myself in my weakened condition.

I can never get my wife and son to go sailing with me, and they won't let me
go sailing tomorrow without them.

I have yet to tell them that I have once again canceled my test.

Is that wrong?

Signed,

At Ease (under normal circumstances)
