Rummy,
Did I hit a nerve?  Even for da boys this could open up the boat more.  What if you had told Stan to leave the dam interior alone when he intruduced his enclosed head.  The V-berth extension goes back at least to my old Rodger Rookey '79 R22.   There's nothing radical new in what I suggested.  What happened, did the lake stop rising---    could you have run out of Mount Gay!
