[Rhodes22-list] Securing Boat To Trailer Question

 Welcome Aboard!

When I bought mine from Stan about 15 years ago, and went to NC to pick it up, the boat was only sitting on the trailer. There is a slid at the bow that can be extended to be tight against the boat, and allows to get the boat as tight to it as possible in the water, then when you drive out, the bow naturally shifts to be away from this brace. By sliding to be tight against the boat, it tends to hold the boat from vibrating during travel. That and having the mast, boom, etc well attached to the boat was all Stan did when he wished me well. I drove to Dallas that way and had no problems.

That description probably sounds a little sketchy, will try to get you some pictures in the near future if someone else does not provide.
