[Rhodes22-list] Securing Mast for Transit

Dear All,

The pic of Ron's boat reminds me of a question. Does everyone w the  
mast raising system go down the road w the mast unsupported in the  
middle? I was not happy w the amount of flex in the mast while  
driving. I will fabricate a wood support that will mount to the mast  
mount & support the mast mid-ship to cut the flex. Does that make sense?
