Alan;

I never considered your strategy of utilizing the furling mechanism during
the tack, but it sounds positively elegant (if we can do it without falling
all over ourselves). Can't wait to try it.  Do you recommend shroud "guards"
or "boots" or "whatchamacallits", and if so what size?
