I used a gas treatment called "Sea Foam" It keeps the gas fresh and I am told it will even help gas that has gone stale. It supports combustion when used straight out of the can. It is a good cleaner, lubricant and gas treatment also. There is a spray version called "Deep Creep". You can spray it directly into the carb. Using this stuff if about the extent of my mechanical ability. http://www.seafoamsales.com
