[Rhodes22-list] Trailering question

I trailer my boat many miles and always leave the motor and the rudder attached.  I just use a heavy rubber bungee to attach the motor to the stern rail (in the unlikely event that the cleat on the motor lift fails) and leave it in the up position.  Although it would probably be OK in the down position too.  The extra weight on the stern will have to be offset by making sure the boat is pulled all the way forward on the trailer if it is a single axle trailer.BK
