I have a Rhodes 22 2009 and I beleive Stan provided Petit Trinidad bottom
paint. My boat is in the water in the Chesapeake Bay from April until
November and on jack stands during the off season. The past four seasons I
have given the bottom a light sanding and applied one new coat of Petit
Trinidad SR. It takes about a full gallon and is over $200 per gallon.
Enclosed is a current photo with the hull compounded and waxed but no bottom
treatment. I wonder how long I can keep putting on one new coat of paint
without compleetly removing all the old paint? This paint has worked well
for me with no or little bottom scum build up and no barnacles.
