[Rhodes22-list] Your favorite way of pulling out mast step

I unseated my mast step by forgetting to slide the pop top cover back in the closed position. As the mast lowered, it rested on the pop top cover which acted as a canter lever and applied enough upward pressure on the mast step as to unseat it. You really should have  Stan's instruction sheet handy when raising or lowering the mast especially if you only do it twice a year.
