Graham:  Have you made it to Florida as yet?  I'll be on the west coast (boat less) for a wedding reception tomorrow (Friday) but free on Saturday if you are in the Tampa area.  You seem to know your way around better than most but I can relate how we did the run from Punta Gorda, south of Tampa, down through the Keys and then back up the east coast to Stuart.

Get a standard Gelcoat repair kit preferably one with color match.  The
gelcoat that starts white yellows a bit with time and grime.
