[Rhodes22-list] Bilge question

Just saw another reference to water in the bilge which makes me think I need
to be more aware of a potential problem. Where does water come from to get
into the bilge? I don't think I have ever had any water in my bilge. (I've
only taken up the carpet in the cabin a couple of times to check.) I do not
have a bilge pump. Do I need to be more concerned about this?
