That’s a Hoyt boom at the bow that has some nice features (including self-vanging to keep the foot of the sail down). I had one on a previous Harbor 20 (made by Shock) and for the staysail on the Island Packet that I’ve just sold).
Mark: do you know if that was installed by Stan or by the previous owner?
