thanks, but it gets worse.  Just got off the phone with the 
manufacturer.  His tech dept. says you can have it all correct and it 
still may not work because of the degree of the precision of the 
threading itself.  Hayn claims that the quality of their machine cut 
threads is so high that their fittings do not work with some of the 
other brands bodies.

Good salesmanship or not, I ordered the rest of the turnbuckle from Hayn 
and they are shipping today.  Can't keep poor Dana from sailing his 
third Rhodes in beautiful Belize any longer than need be.  If you did 
not get to see his beautiful photo, I have attached it.
